Two ways to walk through recovery.

Ortho-Rehab absolut 2.0 reimagines Künzli's rehabilitation shoe for Achilles tendon recovery through two concepts. The first is a breathable shoe made to be worn at home, where aesthetics matter as much as support. Paired with a matching sandal for the other foot, it keeps both feet at the same height to protect the back.

The second is a mono-material shell in TPU, 3D printed by selective laser sintering (SLS). Its upper part can be worn on its own at night, offering continuous support without the full shoe.

Thomas d'Enfert is a French-American industrial designer and artist based in San Francisco. Rooted in traditional craftsmanship and functional thinking, he connects this know-how with emerging technologies to create objects with innovative forms and sustainable uses.

Alongside his studio practice, Thomas has conceived and delivered products, commissioned pieces and international exhibitions, taking projects from concept through fabrication and installation. He has also taught at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), where he showed students how art thinking can open new directions in design.
